Beyond traditional dental hygiene, our practice is expanding its focus on whole-body wellness, including airway health, sleep-disordered breathing screening, and facial aesthetic services. We are seeking a clinician who is passionate about patient education, preventative care, and professional growth. Your expertise will help foster trust, improve overall health outcomes, and promote lifelong wellness in a collaborative and innovative environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to advance your clinical skills while making a meaningful difference in patients' oral and systemic health. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments by obtaining vital signs, reviewing medical histories, and evaluating oral and overall health factors that may impact treatment outcomes. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, nutrition, and lifestyle habits that support long-term oral and systemic health. Assist in identifying signs and symptoms of sleep-disordered breathing, airway concerns, bruxism, TMJ dysfunction, and other conditions that may affect overall wellness. Support patient education and treatment discussions related to sleep health, airway-focused dentistry, and emerging wellness services offered by the practice. Participate in the delivery and coordination of facial aesthetic services as permitted by state regulations and training, including patient consultations, education, and treatment support. Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficiency and patient comfort. Take and interpret diagnostic images, including dental radiographs, while adhering to infection control and radiation safety protocols. Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft. Support infection control procedures by sterilizing instruments, managing dental supplies, and maintaining a safe clinical environment in accordance with OSHA and CDC guidelines. Collaborate with providers and team members to create personalized treatment plans that support oral health, facial harmony, airway health, and overall patient wellness. Experience & Qualifications Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in good standing and graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program. Experience working in general dentistry, family dentistry, or pediatric dentistry settings. Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar dental software platforms. Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, periodontal therapy, infection control protocols, dental terminology, and patient care standards. Experience conducting patient assessments, documentation review, treatment planning support, and clinical education. Interest in or experience with airway dentistry, sleep-disordered breathing screening, myofunctional concepts, wellness-focused care, or facial aesthetics is highly desirable. Willingness to pursue additional training and certifications related to sleep health, airway assessment, facial aesthetics, and emerging wellness services. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for patient education and relationship building. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and high standards of patient care. Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus.
