What You'll Do:
As a Dental Hygienist, you will:
- Provide outstanding dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing.
- Conduct thorough oral health assessments, including reviewing patient medical histories and charting periodontal conditions.
- Take and process dental radiographs.
- Educate patients with enthusiasm and commitment on proper oral hygiene techniques and the link between oral health and overall health.
- Motivate and encourage patients to achieve and maintain optimal oral health.
- Apply preventive agents such as fluoride and sealants.
- Collaborate with dentists and other team members to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient workflow within the practice.
What We're Looking For:
Licensure:
Current Dental Hygienist license in Florida
Experience:
2 years of clinical experience as a Dental Hygienist.
Skills:
○ Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and techniques. ○ Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills. ○ Strong clinical assessment skills. ○ Ability to educate and motivate patients effectively. ○ Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and equipment. ○ Familiarity with dental practice management software (Eaglesoft).
