Job Description
Job Summary As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care. You'll deliver high-quality preventive care and educate patients on oral health practices. What you'll do Perform through dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar. Taking X-rays Periodontal Charting Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Utilize dental software for documentation and record-keeping. Implement aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment. Review medical records and documentation to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Basic qualifications Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy. CPR Certified Dental Hygiene License in state of Florida Preferred qualifications Previous experience in a dental clinic or office setting.
