Job Description
We are looking for a positive, hardworking hygienist to add to our amazing team! We are an upbeat, fast paced, busy office with strong core values and a thriving team culture. The ideal candidate should display attention to detail, be comfortable discussing periodontal disease, patient treatment and other oral health related conditions and needs with patients. Must also be a team player and desire a long-term career with our dental family. We are fee-for-service, meaning we treat patients based on their needs rather than what insurance dictates. We don't try to upsell, but we do expect you to be comfortable discussing treatment plans, and offering products and services to our patients that will improve their overall oral health. As a valued team member, responsibilities would include but are not limited to: taking x-rays, intraoral itero scans & intraoral photos, perio charting, oral hygiene instruction, scaling, polishing, scaling & root planing, applying fluoride treatment, sealants, gingival irrigation, sterilization. Other responsibilities include; discussing potential restorative options, entering treatment plans, scheduling recare for patients, helping with hygiene recare book, opening and closing duties, helping out during appointment openings, organizing and putting away products, The hours for this position are; Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 7am-5pm. We have an all team morning huddle at 6:45, so we usually arrive at 6:30 to set up for the day. Although this position is three days a week, it is a full-time role that also offers the opportunity to cover extra days for team members when needed.
