Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our busy perio office. Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and evaluating oral health status Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies Assist with chairside procedures such as dental restorations, sealants, and fluoride treatments using four-handed dentistry techniques Take and interpret medical imaging (X-rays), ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed Review medical records and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations Maintain strict infection control standards through aseptic technique and sterilization procedures in accordance with OSHA guidelines Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice Proficiency in dental office software such as Dentrix Ascend is highly preferred Experience working in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry environments is advantageous Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control practices Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically Ability to perform chairside assisting duties including patient positioning, instrument handing, and maintaining a sterile environment Join our team if you're eager to deliver top-tier dental care in a supportive environment that values your expertise! Pay:

$40.00 - $45.00 per hour
