Benefits/Perks Working in a fee for service practice serving high quality patients Learn and speak with patients about holistic approach to dentistry and the root cause of disease Competitive Compensation Monday-Wednesday, 8:00-5:00pm Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and friendly Registered Dental Hygienist to join our fee for service holistic dental practice! Our practice serves very high quality patients committed to their oral and overall holistic health. The ideal candidate is technically proficient and focused on providing an exceptional experience to our patients. A willingness to learn is important. A Florida state-licensed Registered Dental Hygienist who has at least 2 years of experience is ideal. If you are a friendly team player who is committed to creating a fantastic dental experience, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Welcome patients and make them comfortable. Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they may have Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures Take vital signs and accurately record medical histories Perform preliminary exams and collect oral health histories Evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection Perform routine hygiene services Teach good oral hygiene techniques Create dental scans Take X-rays Assist dentist during procedures and exams, if called upon (this is a rare occurence) Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies Qualifications Associate's Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation, Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred Current Dental Hygienist licensure in Florida At least 2 years of experience in dental hygiene Strong understanding of HIPPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines Excellent communication and customer service skills
Pay:
$40.00 - $50.00 per hour
