Time, Day Shift Position Overview:
SnapCare is seeking a compassionate and patient‑centered Registered Dental Hygienist to support a specialized Infectious Disease Program (IDP) focused on serving patients living with
HIV/AIDS.
This role requires a non‑judgmental, empathetic clinician dedicated to high‑quality, inclusive care. This is an urgent temp‑to‑perm opportunity for candidates interested in long‑term, permanent placement.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized dental hygiene services including scaling and root planing Identify and monitor oral manifestations of
HIV/AIDS
Deliver patient education focused on oral health and disease prevention Serve as a preceptor and clinical resource for dental students Maintain accurate documentation and comply with infection‑control standards Collaborate with interdisciplinary Infectious Disease Program teams Support a diverse patient population with professionalism, discretion, and respect
Requirements:
Active and unrestricted Georgia Registered Dental Hygienist license License must be in good standing with primary source verification via Georgia Secretary of State Strong clinical skills and experience working with medically complex patients Compassionate, non‑judgmental approach to patient care Interest in long‑term permanent placement following the temporary assignment
