Job Description:

Join a dedicated public health team focused on improving the oral health of the community. As a Dental Hygienist, you will provide preventative dental care and education under the supervision of a licensed dentist. This role includes hands-on care, patient education, and support for treatment planning. A great opportunity to serve in a collaborative and wellness-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform screenings, identify potential issues, and assist the dentist in diagnosis and treatment planning Deliver comprehensive hygiene care including x-rays, prophylaxis, scaling (including deep scaling with anesthesia), fluoride, and sealants Educate patients and their guardians on oral hygiene practices and document interactions in patient records Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control protocols; maintain clinical records Assist with operatory setup and breakdown between patients

Qualifications and Requirements:

Associate's degree in dental hygiene from an accredited college or university Current Georgia dental hygienist license Minimum of two years of related dental hygiene experience Comfortable performing sedentary work with occasional standing or walking May serve as a lead worker as needed
