We are seeking a hard working and highly motivated individual who is focused on patient-centered care to help grow our practice. Full and part time candidates will be considered.
Who We Are:
Dr. Katie Mathis has 10 years of experience as a general dentist in Cedar Rapids. Prairie Creek Dental is a brand new construction and state of the art office located on the SW side of Cedar Rapids, with convenient access to our surrounding communities via Highway 30 and Highway 151. Dr. Mathis is focused on patient-centered care is looking for a reliable hygienist with clinical experience and a desire to be highly involved in patient care and education.
Qualifications:
  • Experienced hygienist preferred, but not required. New graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Working knowledge of digital radiography and sterilization protocols
  • Local anesthetic permit preferred but not required
  • Registered Dental Hygienist in the State of Iowa
  • Radiography Certification Responsibilities:
  • Proficient comprehensive charting and completion of adult and child prophylaxis as well as the ability to perform SRP
  • Maintenance and sterilization of instruments and equipment
  • Obtain digital radiographs and intraoral photos
  • Actively partake in patient education
  • Present treatment plans and financial arrangements
  • Be willing to help with scheduling, patient communication, check-in/check-out and taking patient payments
  • General upkeep of the dental office facilities

Full Time (Monday-Thursday 8 am

Pay:
Competitive pay based on clinical experience.
