Job Description

We are hiring a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team in Kellogg, Idaho. Easy commute from Coeur d'Alene, Post Falls, and Hayden (30-45 minutes) Incredible lifestyle: mountains, skiing, hiking, and lakes nearby Monday•Thursday schedule, flexible scheduling options available. As a vital member of our practice, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental hygiene services, supporting patient education, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all patients. 8 am•5 pm
Tues:
7:30 am•3 pm
Wed:
7:30am•3 pm

closed What We Offer $50•$60/ hour, based on experience Full benefits package: Health, Dental, Vision, Matching Retirement, PTO, etc. Quarterly bonus Sign on bonus of $5,000 Scrub reimbursement What You'll Do Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing. Assess patient's oral health, record vital signs, review medical histories, and ensure HIPAA compliance. Take and interpret dental X-rays to support diagnosis and treatment planning. Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and healthy habits. Prepare and maintain treatment rooms using proper aseptic and infection control procedures in compliance with OSHA standards. Review, document, and maintain accurate medical records using EMR systems. Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment and collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of dental hygiene practices, patient care, and infection control protocols. Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft is essential for efficient record management. Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to educate patients effectively on oral health practices. Certification as a Registered Dental Hygienist from an accredited program is mandatory; licensure must be current according to state regulations.
