Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental hygiene, excellent patient care skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for providing preventive oral health services, educating patients, and supporting overall dental health initiatives. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to prevent and treat periodontal disease. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations. Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and medical histories in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Eaglesoft. Follow infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination. Sterilizing instruments and cleaning operatory Periocharting Skills Proficiency in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft for scheduling, documentation review, and medical records management. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices. Ability to perform vital signs measurement and medical imaging procedures accurately. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored to diverse patient needs. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security. Knowledge of medical terminology and medical coding for accurate documentation and billing purposes.
