Flexible Schedule
- Seeking Dental Hygenist to work 7-11 days per month.
Office is open:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and 1 Saturday per month. Office is currently closed Thursdays.HIGHLY FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE
(Some days can be half days).Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic dental office and make a positive impact on the lives of our patients.Duties:
- Perform dental prophylaxis, including removing plaque, calculus, and stains from teeth
- Conduct thorough oral assessments and screenings
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and materials
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
- Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment
Requirements:
- Valid state dental hygiene license
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Proficient knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
- Experience working in a dental office setting preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate and interact with patients
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft
- Ability to take accurate vital signs and perform medical coding for insurance purposes
