This exciting opportunity allows you to deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, friendly environment while ensuring optimal oral health for our diverse patient community. As a vital member of our clinic, you will provide comprehensive hygiene services, support clinical operations, and uphold the highest standards of infection control and patient safety. Bring your expertise and enthusiasm to help us maintain our reputation for outstanding dental care! Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to promote healthy smiles. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions. Assist with pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring comfort and safety for young patients. Utilize dental software systems such as Dentrix for accurate documentation of treatment records and medical histories. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to foster ongoing health improvements. Review medical records and documentation to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and accurate medical coding. Skills Proficiency with Dentrix. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control, and aseptic techniques. Experience in pediatric dentistry and general dentistry environments. Ability to perform patient care tasks such as vital signs measurement and patient assessment confidently. Excellent communication skills for explaining procedures and instructions clearly to patients of all ages. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques relevant to dental diagnostics. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, and medical records management to ensure privacy and compliance.
