Guaranteed days are Mondays through Thursdays. Applicants should have wonderful people skills and a motivated teamwork attitude. Soltys Dentistry is a privately owned father/son doctor team that has been serving the Rockford community for 46 years. In this position, you will utilize your expertise in dental hygiene to promote oral health, educate patients, and support the overall success of our dental practice. You'll work closely with our talented team to ensure every patient receives comprehensive, compassionate care in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Your dedication will help us maintain the highest standards of dental health and patient satisfaction. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to promote optimal oral health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies tailored to their individual needs. Take and develop dental x-rays while adhering to infection control measures. Review and update medical records accurately. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining patient confidentiality and safeguarding sensitive information. Support infection control procedures by sterilizing instruments, managing dental supplies, and maintaining a sterile environment. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice. Proven experience in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry environments preferred. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles is a plus for working with younger patients. Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively about their oral health needs.
Pay:
$45.00 - $50.00 per hour
