Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and a passion for promoting oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental services, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining the highest standards of infection control and safety. We are currently offering a 5,000 dollar sign on bonus Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric patients. Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for patient management and documentation. Conduct vital signs checks and assist in medical imaging procedures as needed. Provide chairside assistance during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation review in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Implement aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments. Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and advancements in general dentistry practices. Requirements Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred; familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus. Proficiency in EMR systems and medical coding is advantageous. Strong knowledge of dental assisting practices, including four-handed dentistry techniques. Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care. Ability to perform thorough patient assessments while demonstrating attention to detail. Understanding of infection control measures and aseptic techniques within the dental environment.
