Registered Dental Hygienist Winfield, IL 60190 From $55 an hour - Part-time From $55 an hour - Part-time About Us Join our busy dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Join our young, female-led dental practice proudly serving the Winfield, Illinois community. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional, compassionate patient care in a warm and welcoming environment. If you are passionate about oral health and want to build lasting relationships with patients, we would love to meet you! Position Overview Experienced hygienists preferred but not required; new graduates welcome! Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, scaling and root-planing Conduct patient dental assessments Assist with pediatric dentistry procedures using gentle, age-appropriate techniques for young patients Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for accurate documentation of patient records and treatment notes Provide dental education to patients Support dentists during procedures through chair-side assisting, including handing instruments and managing suction Follow strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff Requirements Valid state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control standards (including HIPAA compliance) Ability to perform dental imaging and take accurate vital signs and medical histories Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored to pediatric, adult and geriatric patients Benefits Competitive compensation, based upon experience Health insurance for full-time employees Paid vacation time Employee discount for dental treatments Supportive and collaborative team culture If you are interested in this position, please contact us for prompt in-person interview.
