Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities:

• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
• Take dental x-rays
• Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Follow aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and sterile environment
• Use dental software systems such as SoftDent for patient management and medical coding

Requirements:

• Valid state dental hygiene license
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Knowledge of dental anatomy, oral health conditions, and treatment options
• Excellent patient assessment skills to identify oral health issues
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Job Types:
