Eaglesoft Registered Dental Hygienist Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our 2nd generation private family practice. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. M-TH with 1 hour hygiene appointments and 1.5 hours for new patients. Pay based on experience. To join our team please send resume to
Responsibilities:
  • Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
  • Conduct patient assessments and screenings, including taking vital signs
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral health instructions
  • Take dental x-rays and develop and mount radiographs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Eaglesoft
  • Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure the highest quality of patient care
Skills:
  • Proficient knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
  • Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry
  • Ability to perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs
  • Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols
  • Comfortable working with patients of all ages, including pediatrics
  • Competency in taking dental x-rays and interpreting radiographs
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity
Requirements:
  • Valid state dental hygiene license
  • Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
  • CPR certification
