What You'll Do Provide preventive, periodontal, and therapeutic hygiene care with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail Educate patients on oral health, treatment recommendations, and long-term care needs Build strong patient relationships that encourage trust, loyalty, and long-term retention Help support treatment acceptance by reinforcing doctor recommendations and helping patients understand the value of care Deliver a polished, elevated patient experience that feels welcoming, comfortable, and relationship-driven Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Support a productive and efficient hygiene schedule while prioritizing patient care and experience Collaborate closely with doctors, the treatment plan coordinator, and the clinical team to ensure continuity of care and communication Communicate with warmth, professionalism, and confidence, even in fast-paced or high-pressure situations Use technology and systems efficiently to stay organized and proactive Contribute to practice growth through patient engagement, reappointment, and relationship-building What We're Looking For Strong communication and relationship-building skills Hospitality-focused personality with a polished, welcoming presence Passionate about patient education and helping people feel comfortable and confident Coachable, adaptable, and open to feedback Positive, team-first attitude with strong emotional intelligence Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems and workflows Reliable, responsible, and accountable Able to stay calm, professional, and solutions-focused under pressure Believes in the doctors, the mission, and the patient experience we are building Hard-working with a strong desire to help maintain a productive, full schedule patients enjoy being part of Background Licensed Dental Hygienist in Louisiana or ability to obtain licensure required Experience in cosmetic or restorative dentistry environments is a plus, but not required Experience with patient education, relationship-driven care, and treatment conversations is highly valued What Success Looks Like Patients genuinely enjoy seeing you and feel cared for during every visit Strong patient relationships and positive patient experiences A productive, well-maintained schedule with strong patient retention and reappointment High-quality clinical care paired with excellent communication Reliable attendance and ownership mentality Team-first attitude with professionalism and emotional intelligence Why Smile Snob?
