Job Description:

InGenesis is currently seeking a Dental Hygienist to work with our client. In this role, you will be responsible for the preventative aspects of oral health care. Responsibilities Provide clinical, education, and therapeutic services to promote optimal oral health Educate patients on home care, oral hygiene, and treatment plans Perform clinical services including: Radiographs Dental cleanings Scaling and root planing (with local anesthesia) Fluoride and therapeutic agent administration Follow OSHA standards for infection control and bloodborne pathogens Inspect, sterilize, and disinfect instruments and operatories before and after each patient Collect and update patient medical histories and request medical clearance when needed Perform oral cancer screenings, periodontal assessments, and chart findings Set up and break down treatment areas Teach oral hygiene practices (brushing, flossing, nutrition) Adhere to HIPAA patient privacy policies Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Vocational, technical, or associate degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Massachusetts Proof of immunity/documentation
