Job Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, friendly environment! In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, educate patients on oral health, and support the overall success of our dental practice. Your expertise will help ensure patients maintain healthy smiles while experiencing a positive, comfortable visit. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions Take and develop dental radiographs (medical imaging) using digital systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix EMR platforms Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options in a clear and engaging manner Assist the dentist during procedures through chairside assisting, ensuring proper infection control and aseptic techniques are maintained Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic medical records (EMR), including medical records review and treatment notes Monitor and record vital signs to ensure patient safety throughout procedures Support infection control protocols aligned with HIPAA regulations and dental office standards Manage dental documentation review, medical coding, and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations Collaborate with team members to promote efficient workflow using dental terminology and anatomy knowledge Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current credentials to practice legally Proven experience in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry settings, with familiarity in pediatric dentistry preferred Proficiency with dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix EMR systems for charting, scheduling, and documentation Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and aseptic techniques Experience with medical imaging techniques including radiography for diagnostic purposes Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately across diverse patient populations including pediatrics Ability to perform dental assisting tasks such as chairside support during various procedures (Four-handed dentistry) Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to medical records confidentiality and documentation review processes Familiarity with medical terminology, medical coding, and EMR systems is highly desirable Prior experience working in a busy dental office or clinic environment is preferred Join us in creating healthier smiles while advancing your career in a supportive environment that values your expertise!

$44.00 - $57.00 per hour
