Job Description
Dental Hygienist
We are looking for someone who is clinically confident, personable, and committed to helping patients understand the value of preventive care and long-term oral health. What Makes This Role Different This is not a rushed, high-pressure hygiene position. Our goal is to provide thoughtful, thorough care while supporting our hygienists with strong systems, organized scheduling, and a collaborative team.
You'll work closely with our doctors and front office to ensure patients receive excellent care, understand their needs, and stay on track with treatment. Core Responsibilities Provide high-quality hygiene care (prophy, perio maintenance, SRP, patient education) Review and update medical histories Take diagnostic radiographs (Schick) and review with AI-assisted tools Perform periodontal charting and oral cancer screenings (voice-activated charting) Utilize intraoral cameras (MouthWatch) and Cavitron 300 systems Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive care Clearly communicate clinical findings to the doctor Support case acceptance through patient education and follow-up Maintain accurate clinical notes in EagleSoft Follow OSHA, infection control, and sterilization protocols Help create a calm, positive patient experience Collaborate with doctors, assistants, and front office team What You Bring Active Massachusetts Dental Hygiene license Strong clinical skills and attention to detail Warm, professional communication style Ability to build trust with patients Confidence discussing periodontal health and treatment Reliability, punctuality, and a team-first attitude EagleSoft experience preferred Local anesthesia certification preferred Ideal Candidate You're a great fit if you: Want to provide quality care without feeling rushed Enjoy educating patients and explaining treatment needs Are organized, dependable, and clinically thorough Bring a positive attitude and strong teamwork mindset Communicate clearly with both clinical and administrative teams Schedule Flexible full-time or part-time options available:
