With an experienced team and top-notch equipment, we offer a supportive environment for both personal and professional growth. If you are passionate about patient care for all ages of patients and want to be part of a dynamic practice on a long-term basis, we'd love to hear from you! Schedule Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8 am-5 pm Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions. Take and develop medical imaging, such as X-rays, ensuring proper technique and patient comfort. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions. Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and medical histories in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Follow strict infection control protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures, to ensure patient safety. Skills Proficiency in dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control standards. Experience with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality. Ability to perform patient care tasks, including vital signs measurement and patient assessment with professionalism. Skilled in chairside assisting with a focus on general dentistry procedures. Familiarity with medical coding and documentation review processes for accurate recordkeeping. Requirements Current Dental Hygienist license and Local Anesthesia permit in Massachusetts CPR certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with a focus on patient comfort and care
Pay:
$55.00 - $61.00 per hour
