Dental Hygienist (RDH)

Job Description We are looking for a mature and responsible Dental Hygienist with leadership qualities for a well established family dental practice to help treat patients and promote good oral health practices. As a Dental Hygienist, you should be conscientious, reliable and able to build trust with patients. You should have deep knowledge of relevant health and safety rules and a good eye for oral diseases and anomalies. Should be able to become a part of the team and contribute towards its growth. Position Mission The scope of work for Registered Dental Hygienists encompasses a variety of clinical duties which promote excellent patient care in the prevention and treatment of periodontal disease. Dental Hygienist duties revolve around conducting initial patient screenings, cleaning teeth (e.g. removing plaque) and advising patients on oral health and preventative care. As a Dental hygienist you will also help dentists decide treatments for teeth or gum diseases and handle dental emergencies. You'll be an integral part of our team and will help be a part of providing excellent dental care to our valued patients. KPIs / Performance Metrics Reschedules patients for their hygiene visits (95% of the time) Maintain $120 per hour production unassisted Complete Adult Hygiene Recare & NP Appointments in 60 minutes (90% of the time) Maintain fluoride acceptance to 50% (100% of the time) Required Qualifications Associate or Bachelors of Science Degree Completion of a Dental Hygienist program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation Licensure in good standing with American Dental Association (ADA) Must have active state Registered Dental Hygienist license CPR certification Radiograph/x-ray certification Motivated, friendly, and energetic 1 + years experience as a dental hygienist Mass State Anesthesia License Skills Proven experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA) Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment Outstanding communication skills A friendly personality Attention to detail Experience in Invisalign/ ITERO scanning a plus.
