We are located in the neighborhood of Roland Park/Wyndhyst surrounded by private schools and universities. We are a family owned, non-corporate office. New graduates are encouraged to apply! Our hours are Monday - Thursday 7:00AM-4:00PM (breaking for lunch at 11:00AM Or 12:00PM)

Desired Skills and Knowledge:

• Valid and active Dental Hygiene License to practice in the State of Maryland (Required)
• One year experience working in a general dental practice preferred but new graduates with no experience will be strongly considered
• Proficiency in SoftDent preferred but not required
• Able to take accurate digital x-rays (i.e. FMX, Panorex, BWs, and PAs)
• Efficiently breakdown and set up operatory
• Clean, sharpen, maintain, and sterilize hygiene instruments
• Keep track and organize hygiene supplies
• Willing to help around the office during downtime Our hygiene schedule runs 60 minutes for adults, 40 minutes for children under 15 years old.

We are looking for someone with a friendly, upbeat demeanor who performs dental hygiene well, but also takes the time educate and encourage patients to better their oral care. All qualified applicants will be contacted and all inquiries will be confidential. Hourly rate is commensurate with experience and additional certifications (i.e. local anesthesia and/or nitrous oxide). A working interview is required for all candidates, and potential full-time candidate must undergo up to a 90-day probation period.
