  • THE ROLE
  • As our Dental Hygienist, you'll be at the heart of patient care — not an afterthought. You'll work independently and collaboratively to prevent oral disease, educate patients, and help them build lasting healthy habits.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Scale and polish teeth; remove plaque and calculus with care and precision Monitor, treat, and help prevent gingivitis and periodontitis Take dental radiographs and impressions as required Apply fluoride, fissure sealants, and antibacterial/prophylactic materials Develop personalised home care and oral hygiene plans for each patient Educate patients on tooth care, diet, fluoride use, and smoking cessation Prepare the surgery before each session and sterilise all equipment afterwards Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient dental records Follow all Health & Safety, infection control, and dental ethics guidelines Ensure patient comfort at every stage of their visit•
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Essential:
Diploma in Dental Hygiene Current Registered Hygienist licence High school diploma or GED Experience working in a clinical setting Warm, patient-focused attitude with strong attention to detail Nice to
Have:
Additional courses in periodontics, implants, or nutrition Experience with patient counselling or smoking cessation support Second language speaker Active interest in ongoing professional development
