  • THE ROLE
  • As our Dental Hygienist, you'll be at the heart of patient care — not an afterthought. You'll work independently and collaboratively to prevent oral disease, educate patients, and help them build lasting healthy habits.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Scale and polish teeth; remove plaque and calculus with care and precisionMonitor, treat, and help prevent gingivitis and periodontitisTake dental radiographs and impressions as required fluoride, fissure sealants, and antibacterial/prophylactic materialsDevelop personalised home care and oral hygiene plans for each patientEducate patients on tooth care, diet, fluoride use, and smoking cessationPrepare the surgery before each session and sterilise all equipment afterwardsMaintain accurate, up-to-date patient dental recordsFollow all Health & Safety, infection control, and dental ethics guidelinesEnsure patient comfort at every stage of their visit•
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Essential:
Diploma in Dental HygieneCurrent ed Hygienist licenceHigh school diploma or GEDExperience working in a clinical settingWarm, patient-focused attitude with strong attention to detailNice to
Have:
Additional courses in periodontics, implants, or nutritionExperience with patient counselling or smoking cessation supportSecond language speakerActive interest in ongoing professional development
