Responsibilities:

• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, removing plaque, and applying fluoride treatments
• Take and develop dental x-rays using digital imaging software
• Conduct patient assessments to identify oral health conditions and recommend appropriate treatment plans
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care

Skills:

• Proficient in medical imaging software for capturing and analyzing dental x-rays
• Familiarity with Curve Hero
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dental procedures and conditions
• Ability to assess patients' oral health and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and adherence to HIPAA regulations
• Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral hygiene practices
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for accurate medical and dental documentation
