  • Part-time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled part time Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. We are looking for 2 days per week. Ideally Mondays and the other day is flexible. We are open Monday-Thursday from 9am
  • 5pm with 1 hour for lunch.
Recalls are 45 mins for adults and 30 mins for kids,. New pts are 1h15 mins. We are 1 doctor and 1 full time hygienist. A general family practice seeing adults and children. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental office procedures and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages, including pediatrics. The Dental Hygienist will ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical records. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and performing oral examinations. Perform dental cleanings and scaling procedures to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Document patient care accurately in Dentrix or Eaglesoft software, ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards. Assist in the management of medical records and coding for insurance purposes. Maintain aseptic techniques during all dental procedures to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with dentists to develop individualized treatment plans for patients. Provide compassionate care to patients, addressing their concerns and ensuring a comfortable experience. Requirements Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Experience working in a dental office environment is preferred. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality practices. Familiarity with Eaglesoft software is advantageous. Strong skills in patient assessment and care, particularly in pediatrics. Understanding of medical coding and record management processes. Ability to perform aseptic techniques effectively. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards patients.
