Dental Hygienist-Rochelle Hackley DDS

Join Our Team at Rochelle E. Hackley DDS Dental Spa as a Dental Hygienist! We are seeking a friendly and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our large, fast-paced practice. Our team of 10 works across 7 operatories, providing excellent patient care in a supportive and professional environment. This is a full-time role with consistent hours and the opportunity to use advanced technology while building lasting patient relationships.

Responsibilities:

Patient screening procedures, including oral health assessments, health history reviews, oral cancer screenings, head and neck inspections, dental charting, and taking vitals and photos. Taking and processing dental radiographs, CBCT, and panoramic x-rays. Removing calculus, plaque, and stains (hard and soft deposits) from teeth surfaces. Applying preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides. Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies, including tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling. Making impressions for study casts and using iTero for digital impressions. Performing documentation and office management activities. Maintaining instruments and equipment with care. Becoming efficient in techniques including scanning (iTero), probing (Perio), Arestin, periodontal therapy, root planningscaling, anesthesia, and whitening.

Qualifications:

Licensed Dental Hygienist in Maryland. Strong patient care and communication skills. Professional, organized, and attentive to detail. Positive, punctual, and a reliable team player.
