Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join a growing and well-established dental practice. This role is responsible for providing high-quality preventive and therapeutic dental care while ensuring a positive patient experience. The Dental Hygienist plays a critical role in patient education, clinical efficiency, and overall oral health outcomes. Key Responsibilities- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, root planing, and periodontal maintenance
- Conduct oral health assessments including charting, probing, and documentation
- Take and interpret digital radiographs (X-rays)
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, disease prevention, and post-treatment care
- Assist dentists in diagnosing and treatment planning
- Administer local anesthesia and/or nitrous oxide where permitted
- Maintain accurate and compliant patient records
- Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols
- Support overall patient flow and clinical efficiency
- Build strong patient relationships to encourage retention and trust Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Michigan
- Local anesthesia and nitrous certification
- CPR/BLS certification
- Passion for Health/Wellness
- Strong knowledge of periodontal therapy and preventive care
- Proficiency with dental software systems (Eaglesoft)
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Detail-oriented with strong clinical documentation habits
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment Preferred Experience
- 1+ years of clinical dental hygiene experience
- Experience in a high-volume or fast-paced dental practice
- Familiarity with digital imaging and intraoral scanning technology Compensation & Benefits
