Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and possess a strong understanding of dental practices and procedures. This role involves working closely with patients to ensure their oral health is maintained while adhering to the highest standards of hygiene and safety. We're looking for a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist who takes pride in patient education, preventive care, and building lasting relationships. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments. Take X-rays Record perio chart and charting results of the exam. Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories. Utilize dental software Sensei for patient documentation and record-keeping. Maintain infection control protocols and adhere to aseptic techniques in all clinical settings. Prepare and maintain hygiene rooms and equipment. Sterilize hygiene instruments. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Review medical records and documentation for accuracy, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans that meet individual patient needs. Qualifications Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Nitrous and Local Anesthetic certified preferred. Experience in general dentistry is preferred. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
