Job SummaryJoin our dynamic dental team as a Dental Hygienist and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care! Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical history reviews, and documenting findings accurately in electronic medical records (EMR systems) Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficiency and comfort Take and develop dental radiographs (medical imaging) while maintaining strict infection control and aseptic techniques Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, treatment plans, and post-procedure care to promote long-term oral health Review and update medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality at all times Monitor patient vital signs before, during, and after treatments to ensure safety and well-being Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice in a clinical setting Proven experience in dental office environments, preferably within general dentistry or pediatric dentistry practices Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desirable Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse age groups, especially pediatrics Familiarity with medical coding, documentation review, and medical terminology is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of hygiene This role is an exciting opportunity for passionate Dental Hygienists eager to make a positive impact on patients' lives through expert care and compassionate service.
