We will be opening a new location soon - •New Construction• in NE Grand Rapids near Meijer Gardens and our original location is in Grandville! Because we are expanding we have many opportunities available and have flexibility on the days that are available to work. We also have a maternity leave that we are looking for coverage for beginning in June. Join our practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) dedicated to providing exceptional, personalized patient care in a fee-for-service environment. Responsibilities:
Perform thorough periodontal maintenance, including scaling and root planing procedures tailored for periodontal health Local anesthetic and nitrous certification and experience Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and oral examinations Educate patients on periodontal disease prevention, oral hygiene techniques, and treatment options to enhance their understanding and compliance Manage and update electronic medical records with Open Dental accurate documentation of treatments and patient interactions Take and interpret medical imaging necessary for diagnosis and treatment planning in periodontal cases Follow strict infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information and maintain a sterile environment Working as a team with periodontist, dental assistants, and front team to maximize patient experience, make them feel appreciated, welcome, seen, and treated as an
INDIVIDUAL, NOT
a NUMBER! :) Experience Proven experience as a dental hygienist in a clinical setting, preferably within a periodontal or specialty practice Proficiency with OpenDental prefered Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, infection control practices, and more Familiarity with documentation review processes to ensure accurate recordkeeping and compliance Understanding of systemic health conditions and their impact on oral health
License/Certification:
RDH License in Michigan with LA and N2O certification As a hygienist, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the oral health of our patients.
