Dental Hygienist

We are looking for a caring, professional, and reliable Dental Hygienist to help treat patients and promote good oral health practices at our busy dental practice in Novi. We offer a competitive hourly rate starting at $45/hour plus bonus opportunities, with the ability to earn up to $55/hour through assisted hygiene and additional incentives. T his position also includes a $2,000 sign-on bonus, with $1,000 paid after 30 days of employment and an additional $1,000 paid after 6 months. Responsibilities:

Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before and during their examination Sterilize dental instruments Conduct initial mouth screenings and review oral health history Clean and help protect patients' teeth (e.g., remove plaque, apply fluoride, etc.) Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (for example, demonstrating good brushing techniques) Take X-rays and/or dental impressions Maintain digital documentation and charts for each patient

Skills:

Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations (e.g., HIPAA and OSHA) Experience preparing and maintaining dental equipment Outstanding communication skills A patient and friendly personality Strong attention to detail Stamina to meet the physical demands of the role Valid license to practice
