Our dental practice may be the perfect fit! We are family owned dental practice located in downtown Rochester, Michigan. We have been serving the community for over 60 years. We are a patient focused office providing exceptional services for the whole family. We have an amazing hygienist assistant available to help turn over rooms , take x-rays, and provide assistant whenever needed. We offer Medical Benefits, 401K, paid vacation time off. If interested please call office to find out more.....248-651-8787 Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to maintain optimal oral health. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and dental charts to develop personalized treatment plans. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment options to promote lifelong dental health. Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and chairside assisting with precision and professionalism. Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment notes, and medical histories, We use Open Dental Software. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and handling medical records responsibly. Experience Proven experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a fast-paced dental office or clinic environment. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and medical coding standards. Familiarity with EMR systems such as Open Dental for documentation review and record management. Strong understanding of general dentistry procedures, patient care protocols, and medical terminology related to dental health.

$42.64 - $51.64 per hour
