Dental Hygienist

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of oral hygiene. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with our dental team to deliver comprehensive dental services while fostering a positive and comfortable environment for our patients. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health. Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture diagnostic images as needed. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist in the management of patient care, including taking vital signs and discussing treatment plans. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care. Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment. Collaborate with dentists in four-handed dentistry procedures to enhance efficiency during treatments. Support the dental office operations by utilizing Dentrix software for scheduling and patient management. Qualifications Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Experience in a dental office setting preferred, with knowledge of dental assisting practices being advantageous. Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and familiarity with maintaining medical records. Strong understanding of infection control measures and safety protocols. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide compassionate patient care. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
