Our Hygienists are essential members of the clinical team, delivering high-quality, compassionate care and creating an exceptional experience for every patient. We're currently offering flexible start times for those interested in picking up a few hygiene shifts per week, with a minimum commitment of 4 hours per shift. Why Work for Us Enjoy meaningful work in a collaborative environment that fosters professional growth Provide culturally sensitive oral health care, preventive education, professional training, and advocate for access for all $3.00 per hour differential for working PM shift at the Maplewood clinic Responsibilities Provide comprehensive dental care with a focus on the health needs of the patients Perform preliminary and existing charting of the oral cavity and surrounding structures Perform initial and periodic examinations and assessments Formulate a dental hygiene treatment plan in coordination with a dentist's treatment plan Complete debridement, prophylaxis, and nonsurgical periodontal therapy; place subgingival medicaments. Provide nutritional counseling Administer nitrous oxide inhalation analgesia and monitor patient Apply topical medications including fluoride varnishes and desensitizing agents Qualifications Dental Hygienist license CPR/AED certification Experience working with culturally diverse communities preferred Proficiency in a second language preferred
