Job Description

We are hiring a dental hygienist for a full-time position
  • four days per week
  • at our small family practice. We have a fantastic patient base and are looking for a friendly, professional hygienist to join our team! Our clinic hours are 8 am
  • 4:30 pm; we are open Monday through Thursday.
We use Open Dental software and digital radiographs (Dexis). Expectations/Responsibilities Ensure patients feel comfortable throughout their appointment Conduct initial mouth screenings, check oral health history, and update medical history Identify conditions like gingivitis/periodontitis including being up to date on current periodontal classification Use cavitron and/or hand scale and polishing techniques Educate patients of all ages on proper oral hygiene Take radiographs as prescribed by doctor Take intra oral photos or assist doctor in taking photos Maintain documentation and charts on each patient Sterilize dental instruments properly Help monitor supplies for ordering Requirements Diploma in Dental Hygiene Active licensure in Minnesota Benefits Hourly pay negotiable Days/hours flexible Medical insurance coverage Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Free dental care for you and spouse/children Continuing Education fees Allowance for uniform/scrubs
