The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. Female owned private practice with all women staff. Small office feel. Established patient base. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health. Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture diagnostic images as needed. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain infection control protocols and adhere to aseptic techniques throughout all procedures. Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and any relevant medical history accurately. Assist with pediatric patients, ensuring a comfortable experience for children during their appointments. Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care in general dentistry settings. Review documentation for accuracy and completeness before patient discharge. Requirements Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations. Proficiency in using dental software systems is preferred. We currently use XLDent. Will train in! Super easy to use Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry. Experience in infection control practices and aseptic techniques is essential. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and work collaboratively with the dental team. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are necessary for documentation review and patient care.
