Take X-rays while maintaining strict infection control and aseptic techniques. Manage electronic medical records (EMR systems) like Open Dental accurately, ensuring proper documentation review and data entry. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong dental health. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of all patient information while supporting compliance with healthcare standards. Requirements Valid dental hygiene license in accordance with state regulations. Proficiency in dental terminology, and documentation review processes. Strong knowledge of anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice. Experience with EMR systems such as Open Dental is highly desirable. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate clearly. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
