Job Summary $5000 TUITION
REIMBURSEMENT
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our vibrant dental team! In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care by providing thorough dental cleanings, patient education, and assisting with various clinical procedures. Your expertise will help promote oral health and ensure a positive experience for every patient. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to maintain optimal oral health. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to inform treatment plans. Assist dentists during procedures such as restorations, extractions, and other general dentistry treatments using four-handed dentistry techniques. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to foster lifelong healthy habits. Manage and update electronic medical records (EMR systems) like Eaglesoft or Dentrix accurately and efficiently. Maintain strict infection control protocols through aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Support pediatric dentistry cases by adapting communication styles and treatment approaches suitable for children of all ages. Requirements Valid Dental Hygienist license with current state certification. Proven experience in dental office settings, with familiarity in dental assisting, medical imaging, and documentation review. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control standards, and HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy. Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly preferred. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate clearly. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is a plus for working with younger patients. Ability to perform vital signs measurement, medical coding, and review medical records accurately.
