ABOUT THE PRACTICE

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Registered Dental Hygienist will be responsible for providing preventative dental care, educating patients and parents on oral hygiene, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services to the pediatric patient base.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing (very few SRP patients). Administer fluoride treatments and sealants. Take digital radiographs and panos (all new, handheld equipment) Educate patients (up to 20 years old) and their parents on proper oral hygiene techniques and nutritional counseling. Maintain accurate patient records in CareStack PMS. Assist the dentist during various dental procedures as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in Missouri Current CPR certification. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with children and young adults. Strong commitment to patient care and safety.
