Job Description

Job Summary Join our team as a Dental Hygienist and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral health care! In this energetic role, you will provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, educate patients on maintaining healthy smiles, and support the overall efficiency of the dental practice. Benefits learning and using Guided Biofilm Therapy (reduces wrist wear and tear for hygienists) 6 paid holidays 401K up to 4 % matched Vacation pay Dental Benefits Health Insurance or compensation Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories and vital signs to ensure safety and personalized care Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options tailored to their needs Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency Take and process medical imaging such as X-rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and progress in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Eaglesoft Follow strict infection control protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures, to ensure a safe environment for all Skills Proficiency with Eaglesoft for scheduling, documentation review, and record management, helpful but not required Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical coding, and medical terminology relevant to dental care Ability to accurately measure vital signs and perform medical imaging with attention to safety standards Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security at all times Excellent communication skills for educating patients effectively while demonstrating professionalism and empathy This role is perfect for motivated professionals eager to grow their career in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Pay:
$50.00 - $65.00 per hour
