Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care! In this role, you will utilize your expertise to promote oral health, perform thorough dental cleanings, and support our patients through compassionate education. Responsibilities Perform preventative dental cleanings, periodontal treatments such as scaling and maintenance cleanings, polishing, and fluoride treatments as needed to maintain optimal oral health. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories and current dental conditions to ensure safe and effective care. Take dental imaging such as X-rays and intraoral imaging while adhering to infection control and aseptic techniques. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies tailored to pediatric dentistry when applicable. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records, treatment notes, and medical history in Dentrix practice management software. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information and maintaining confidentiality at all times. Skills Proficiency in dental terminology, dental coding, and documentation review to ensure precise recordkeeping. Strong knowledge of anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice. Experience with pediatric dentistry, including working with children and understanding their unique dental needs. Familiarity with Dentrix for efficient charting and record management. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and provide compassionate support. Knowledge of dental terminology, and dental imaging techniques relevant to dental practice. Pay:
$45.00 - $50.00 per hour
