We opened in June 2024 and are excited to continue growing! We are seeking a part-time dental hygienist to join our dental team and help us provide high-quality care to our patients. The schedule will consist of a single column of patients, allowing you to focus on delivering personalized care. We are looking for someone who is motivated, compassionate, positive, energetic, eager to learn, and a true team player. This position is 1-2 days per week, with flexibility in scheduling and choice of days. If you're looking for a supportive, relationship-focused practice where you can make a difference, we would love to meet you! Responsibilities of the Hygienist In this highly valued role, you will:
  • Routine prophylaxis
  • Scaling and Root Planing
  • Periodontal Maintenance
  • Periodontal charting
  • Fluoride application
  • Sealant application
  • Chart existing and proposed treatment
  • Ensure our patients are comfortable and prepared for treatment
  • Keeping accurate records and notes
  • Take digital x-rays
  • Take intraoral photos
  • Sterilize instruments
  • Educate patients on their oral health needs
  • Perform some administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records
  • Keep workspace and office clean and well-stocked
  • Promote a positive patient experience
  • Foster an upbeat team environment Qualifications of the Dental Hygienist
  • Valid Registered Dental Hygienist dental license from accredited dental hygiene school
  • Experience preferred
  • Current x-ray certification (required)
  • Current CPR certification (required)
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Attention to detail, well-organized, reliable
