Job Summary Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Hygienist and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care in a friendly, professional environment! In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, educate patients on oral health, and support the overall success of our dental practice. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, sealants, and fluoride treatments to promote optimal oral health. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories and current dental conditions. Take bite wing, periapical, and panoramic X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to foster lifelong healthy habits. Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment notes, and medical histories in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) Follow HIPAA regulations diligently to protect patient privacy and ensure compliance with all legal standards. Experience Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a busy dental office or clinic setting. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and dental coding. Familiarity with EMR systems such as Practiceworks is preferred. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate clearly.
