Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality preventive dental care while building lasting relationships with patients. Responsibilities Perform dental cleanings, scaling, root planning, and periodontal maintenance Conduct oral health assessments and chart findings accurately Take and interpret digital radiographs Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations Assist dentists with diagnosis and treatment planning Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft software Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols Administer local anesthesia as permitted under North Carolina regulations Support a positive, team-oriented office environment Deliver exceptional customer service and patient care Qualifications & Skills Current North Carolina Dental Hygiene License in good standing Associate or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program Current CPR/BLS certification Proficiency with Eaglesoft preferred Strong knowledge of periodontal therapy and preventive dentistry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to educate and motivate patients effectively Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Compassionate, professional, and dependable Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and infection control standards Local anesthesia certification preferred What We Offer Supportive and friendly team environment Excellent work-life balance Established patient base with great patients Positive office culture and strong teamwork Competitive compensation Opportunities for professional growth and continuing education If you are passionate about patient care and want to work in a welcoming private practice with a fantastic team and patients, we would love to hear from you!
