Dental Hygienist

Job Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Hygienist, where your expertise will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting oral health. Our office utilizes Dentrix Ascend, itero scanner, dexis sensors, dexis CBCT, and mouthwatch cameras. 45-60 minutes per patient. Ages range from 3-100, but most of the patient population is 60 or older. Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning, scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to promote optimal oral health. Conduct thorough patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions. Take X-rays while adhering to aseptic techniques and radiation safety protocols. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting treatment plans, patient interactions, and procedural notes Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and preventive measures to enhance their overall health. Follow infection control procedures in compliance with HIPAA regulations and industry standards to ensure a safe environment for all. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice. Proficiency in dental terminology, medical coding, and documentation review processes. Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for efficient record keeping. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and communicate effectively.

Pay:

$53.00 - $60.00 per hour
