• Job Overview
• We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting good oral health practices to our patients. Key qualities are team player and willingness to learn.
• Responsibilities
• Conduct dental cleanings.
• Perform patient assessments including vital signs and medical history review
• Document patient care and treatment plans using Dentrix dental software systems
• Review and update patient medical documentation accurately
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
• Assist with dental X-rays and other diagnostic procedures
• Maintain infection control protocols in the dental office
• Requirements
• Certification or Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene
• State licensure to practice as a Dental Hygienist
• Proficiency in using dental software systems for documentation review
• Strong communication skills for patient education and interaction
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with dental assistants and dentists
